If you are not yet familiar with our popular Vid.ly solution, it’s a highly scalable, cloud-based service that seamlessly combines storage, transcoding, video player technology, consumer device detection, streaming, analytics and now monetization to deliver an optimized end-user experience all via a single URL.
FreeWheel customers who utilize Vid.ly can configure campaigns via the Enoding.com web UI (available starting 5/28) or API. Users can setup campaigns to run only for specific videos or across all their videos. When viewers activate a Vid.ly URL with FreeWheel enabled, Vid.ly will instantly pass their information to the FreeWheel ad server and they will receive a targeted advertisement based on FreeWheel’s MRM logic.
