How long does it take to encode a video with Encoding.com?

We are often asked this question and there is no simple answer because the time required to encode a video file is directly related to the quality of the video file and your specific encoding settings. A HD 1280x720 video file at a bitrate of 6000 kbps will take significantly longer than a 640x320 video file at a bitrate of 500kbps. That being said it is important to note that we have built our system to prioritize each video project submitted by a user to a new server so you can rest assured that your video files will never be in a queue behind other users waiting to encode.
