When it comes to video encoding everyone loves to talk about speed.  At the beginning of 2011 we set out to completely turn the market perception that cloud encoding was slower than on premise encoding upside down.  First we upgraded our baseline servers delivering faster processing time for all jobs, then we upgraded our Turbo encoding servers for 100% gains in processing time.  Next we launched Instant Encoding™ so that processing would begin as your source video was downloading to our processing center as opposed to waiting for the entire video to download before processing begins.  Now we are pleased to announce Twin Turbo, this optional flag when called  will send your jobs to a dedicated 8 core machine with multi threading enabled to deliver a staggering 6-8X processing time improvements over our standard jobs and a 2-4X improvement over our standard turbo for encoding into all modern codecs (H.264, WEBM, Theora etc)  To try out twin turbo simply add the <twin_turbo>yes<twin_turbo/> within format fields of your API call.  Twin Turbo will cost an additional $2.00 per GB on your output GB calculation.
